Black Friday & Holiday Shopping Around Tucson
While our spectacular resort tucked against the Santa Catalina Mountains is beautifully removed from the hustle-and-bustle of retail crowds, we nonetheless provide you with very convenient access to Tucson’s many malls, shopping districts, boutiques, and galleries.
For instance, you’re mere minutes from the nearby shopping center of La Encantada (2905 E. Skyline Dr., Suite 279), which tempts with better than 50 storefronts arrayed amid gardens and hacienda-style buildings. Businesses include the Apple Store, Louis Vuitton, Kate Spade New York, Pottery Barn, Sunglass Hut, Anthropologie, Crate & Barrel, Tiffany & Co., and Michael Kors. La Entacada Shopping Center is open from 10 AM to 7 PM Mondays through Wednesdays, 10 AM to 8 PM Thursdays through Saturdays, and 11 AM to 6 PM on Sundays.
Another good option in Tucson proper is Main Gate Square (814 E University Blvd.), a happening complex of shops and restaurants right by the University of Arizona. This mall includes such retailers as Urban Outfitters, Boutique 816, Grand Central Clothing, Collette, Sonoran Cycles Tucson, Posner’s Art Store, and Dress Code. Main Gate Square’s open seven days a week.
Downtown Tucson also more generally comes well stocked with a wide variety of stores: the Mercado San Agustin, A Perfect Pantry, Desert Bloom, Laura Tanzer, Studio G Vinyl Records, Rival Sneakers, and many more. Some unique gifts can be tracked down at the city’s top-quality museums, as well, from the Tucson Museum of Art (140 N. Main Ave) and Pima Air & Space Museum (6000 E. Valencia Rd) to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum (2021 N. Kinney Rd), the Arizona State Museum (1013 E. University Blvd), and the Tucson Children’s Museum (200 S. Sixth Ave).
